MotoFactory Опубликовано 8 июля, 2025 Опубликовано 8 июля, 2025 Charles and the crew at mXrevival always have something in the works. This 2002 Yamaha YZ250 project is for one of his customers who wanted it to have a very unique look but still had some budget restrictions on the overall cost. Arriving in multiple boxes from the customer, Charles definitely brought his A-game to the table, transforming this early 2000s Yamaha into the stunning machine you see now. 1. AHM Factory Services handled all the suspension needs on this mXrevival YZ250 build. This included a complete rebuild internally with new seals, valving, springs, oil and all the specialty coatings. 2. Pryme MX frame protectors are a thick vinyl material with a strong adhesive back made from a sandpaper-type material that will improve grip without damaging boots or riding gear. 3. Phoenix gave careful consideration to the little details when designing their 50/50 grips. The medium compound, taper of the ridges, and the safety-wire channels were not afterthoughts. They include a roll of safety wire with each set. 4. The FMF exhaust combination on this build includes the Factory Fatty expansion chamber and famed Shorty silencer for improved bark right off bottom. 5. The overall look of this 2002 YZ250 was altered using a complete Revolution plastics kit from Polisport, giving it a more modern look throughout. 6. Dubya USA laced up a set of purple Excel Takasago rims to a set of white hubs to match the rest of the build theme perfectly. 7. Built for motocross applications, Dunlop’s brand-new MX34 tires are designed for soft-to-intermediate terrain featuring block-in-a-block technology for more aggressive cornering and slide control in a variety of track conditions. The retro ’80s vibe was accomplished through a collaboration with Ron and the crew at Decal Works to machine a custom set of graphics to the specialty coatings that adorn this build throughout. Boyesen cast-aluminum clutch covers are made 100 percent in the Boyesen factory. Each cover features a powdercoated exterior for wear-resistance, guaranteed not to warp and come with an asbestos-free gasket bound with nitrile for a tight, leak-free seal. The Lectron Pro-series model takes the positives of both traditional jetted carburetors and metering-rod carburetors to combine and improve upon them. The Pro 38 introduces the new Torque Jet feature while continuing to utilize the metering rod and Power Jet circuits. One of the original moto carbon fiber manufacturers, the Lightspeed YZ250 rear chain guides are 100-percent hand-laid and built tough to handle loads of abuse. The Phoenix 118 handlebars feature a tapered design, laser-etched cut lines, 57mm sweep and are available in four different height options.
