AIMEXPO 2026: NEW PRODUCTS FROM THE U.S. POWERSPORTS TRADE SHOW

Formerly taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, (among other places), the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) made the shift to Anaheim for the 2026 event, bringing powersports dealers to Southern California for Supercross kickoff week. We stopped in to check out the sights and sniff out new motorcycle products that will be available this season. It’s impossible to do it all in two days, but here’s a look inside the 2026 AIMExpo at what we found.

D.I.D has long made wheel rims, but revealed its all-new ACE Wheel, the company’s first pre-assembled complete wheel sets. New D.I.D ACE Wheels are constructed from A7050 aluminum rims and A7075 aluminum hubs with steel spokes and anodized nipples. D.I.D ACE Wheels will come in a variety of sizes and colors. KTM orange is looking sharp.

 

Not a replica… ARC had one of Eli Tomac’s actual bikes on display to show off its new lever setups. ARC revealed a “10-year project” at AIME with all-new master cylinders. They will be available in three different piston sizes and be fully tunable. We’re excited to check out the new ARC clutch master cylinders… even if Eli isn’t. The Turn14 spread showcased all-new 50th anniversary gear from Answer Racing. Company founder Eddie Cole is presented with a special Answer Racing 50th anniversary jersey. New from ProTaper is the VDS handlebar mount system. The Vibration Damping System will come with three different sets of elastomers and a bar pad. They are available for oversize bars only (no 7/8″ mounts) and will retail for $199.

 

Also new from ProTaper are tire covers. Apparently these are becoming popular in Europe and help keep mud and dirt out of the back of your van. Would you run these? 6D Helmets came out with the all-new ATR-3X setup and Max Goggle. Leave it Bob Weber to reinvent the norm. We’re eager to try out this unconventional setup. A peek at the inside of the new Max Goggle from 6D. EVS revealed a new line of chest protectors featuring RE ZRO impact protection material. Adult (left), kids size (center) and a hard-shell version (right) are available. The light inside shows the breathable materials. Riders should get plenty of airflow with this.  Also new from EVS for 2026 is this knee brace with a trick new floating patella setup. In the big bling category is this suspension conversion kit from InnTeck. The Sal Soggio NxTrax system can convert a KYB, Showa, WP or Sachs fork to electronic suspension, complete with a 9D IMU unit that attaches behind the number plate. Our friends at Psychic Motorsports rolled out some updated products from its huge collection, including this KTM 125 cylinder kit from Namura they say they can hardly keep in stock. Builders take note: Psychic Motorsports has a vast array of products including switches, injectors and more. Of course we had to say hello to our friends at SuperSprox. That guy looks familiar… If you’ve ever wondered how an aluminum core and steel teeth come together so well, drink in this beautiful cross-section. And of course, the bikes! Suzuki revealed this GSX-8TT at AIMExpo. (Not a dirt bike, but still beautiful.) Moto Morini’s all-new Vettore 450 has landed in North America. (It will soon land in the Dirt Bike garage.) KTM gave a sneak peak at 2027 with the first 1390 SuperAdventure S EVO to set tread in the U.S. Its dirt-going R sibling has yet to arrive from Austria, but will be available as a 2026 model. All-new from SSR for 2026 is this SR-E800 electric bike. MSRP is TBD. SSR also previewed this all-new XD300 EFI which will be a 2027 model. The full-size fuel-injected four-stroke is 50-state emissions compliant so it will get an OHV sticker in California. It will not be sold as a street-legal model, but SSR will have an accessory dual-sport package—good news for states that allow the conversion.
