The Las Vegas stop of the Mecum Auctions circuit is reserved for two-wheels only (and occasionally three). And the 2026 show is shaping up to be one of the largest. We browsed through over 1,700 motorcycles about to go up on the block and picked out some of the dirt-worthy eye-candy. We found some great ’90s two-stroke motocrossers, race replicas, a handful of race bikes from Chad Reed, Timmy Ferry and Sebastian Tortelli along with some notable gems and interesting rarities. It looks like Red Dog is cleaning out the garage. His Factory Suzuki RM125 that he raced in the 1996 AMA Motocross Nationals is up for auction this Saturday.

Once upon a time, Harley-Davidson took a stab at motocross competition. The 1978 Harley-Davidson MX250 is what they came up with. The Motor Company produced this Aermacchi-built 250 two-stroke for one year only. There are three up for bid at this year’s Las Vegas Mecum Auction. Each is expected to fetch an estimated $25,000 – $28,000. Big chunk of change for a motocross bike—merely a down payment on a modern Harley-Davidson. This 1992 Honda CR250 known as “Gold Digger” won several bike show awards from the One Moto Show in Oregon and the Washougal MX Park Show in Washington.

No, this is not some AI abomination. Husqvarna once made an actual three-wheel conversion kit. This 1973 Husqvarna Super Cycle 450 CR 3-Wheeler was made to tackle snow and sand.
