MotoFactory Опубликовано 14 апреля Опубликовано 14 апреля On this week’s Two-Stroke Tuesday we are releasing the first ever studio images Steve Monje Yamaha YZ125 project. Now we don’t do this often, but believe it or not one hundred percent of this build was done by Steve Monje and then presented to us as a completed project. Even though we didn’t lift a wrench until the testing phase the process was still the same, a complete tear-down and inspection was first on the list. Steve Monje was all smiles with his creation in the Dirt Bike Magazine studios and he has a lot to smile about this build is top tier. When all the pieces of the puzzle come together perfectly you just step back and admire the art that Steve Monje created with this YZ125 project. A Bills Pipe “Cone Look” pipe just looks cool ! The Pro Carbon Racing carbon fiber tank cover looks so real it had us fooled until we looked closer at the studio images and realized it was just a cover. Great job guys. Custom programed GET ignition and a trick X-trig triple clamp set up. The major engine modifications were handled by JM Racing . The purple Phathead Racing head has interchangeable domes and held in place by a titanium FCP engine mount that also adds to the purple theme. The wheel set built by Dubya features purple Excel rims, Magnesium HAAN billet aluminum hubs with silver spokes and nipples is the combination used on this build wrapped in Dunlop MX34 tires. The Magura hydraulic assist was a surprising modification on this build. We just love the way carbon fiber 2-stroke silencers look. Look for a complete story on this build in the June 2026 printed magazine! The post STEVE MONJE “PRIDE OF TEXAS” YZ125 BUILD : 2-STROKE TUESDAY appeared first on Dirt Bike Magazine.
