MotoFactory Опубликовано 28 апреля Опубликовано 28 апреля Since Honda’s introduction of the aluminum framed CR250R back in 1997 the CR500 Aluminum Frame Conversion world and the people in it have had one thing in common, they were all modifying the newer chassis to accommodate the CR500 engine mounting points. Luke Arana and the crew at Two Stroke Only have a different solution to the almost thirty year old dilemma of fitting a Honda 500cc power plant into a brand new 2026 CRF450R chassis and it’s not as complicated as you might think. We are blown away by the fact that besides radiator modifications the Two Strokes Only CR500AF kit requires no major or permanent frame modifications . The upper engine mounting points are the same as the 2026 CRF450R. The Two Stroke Only cases are designed to incorporate the use of the hydraulic clutch that comes stock on the 2026 CRF450R model in partnership with the CR500 parts internally. The exhaust system on this build featured an HYGGE cone pipe and FMF Powercore 2 silencer. The Two Strokes Only CR500 billet aluminum cases and billet aluminum head are designed to mount in the exact same places as the stock Honda CRF450R engine requiring no frame modifications at all. Ryan Surratt was able to finish within the top ten in both pro motos at this years 2-Stroke World Champions eventually finishing seventh overall aboard this Two Strokes Only CR500AF. We like that Two Strokes Only is thinking outside the box an look forward to testing out more of their products in the future, it might be time to break out the Dirt Bike Magazine checkbook and build one of our own Two Strokes Only inspired bike.
