Одиночный сплав на плоту с мотоциклом по рекам Северного Урала: Большой Лямпе, Улсу и Вишере. Река Вишера – от мансийского Пассер-Ю (пас – предел, граница, сер – черта, линия). Серый пасмурный день. Переношу плот на руках по мосту на правый берег Большой Лямпы и туда же переезжаю на мотоцикле. После двух дней почти непрерывных дождей ещё не отошедшая полностью от весеннего половодья река шумит сурово и напористо. Приехавшие накануне рыбаки предупреждают о заваленных упавшими деревьями берегах и крутых поворотах с каменистыми прижимами.
